Abstract :
In order to analyze the dynamic response of the underground pipeline during the earthquake, a numerical simulation of pipeline underground under three-dimension earthquake uniform activation through large mass method by employing the finite element software midas gts. Contact pairs are established between pipe and soil surrounding, and viscoelastic artificial boundary is adopted to simulate transmission process so that model box effect decreases. Ultimately response disciplines of displacement, acceleration and stress of pipe under three-dimension earthquake uniform activation is achieved.
