Abstract :
Improvement of the technology for producing modified polytetrafluoroethylene towards the application of ultrasound of high intensity directly in pressing composite substantially improves its mechanical and tribological properties. Introduction of ultrasonic vibrations in compressible material is shown to increase the tensile strength and modulus of elasticity and to reduce the friction coefficient of the synthesized composite.
