Abstract :
Overall performance of the controlled shock absorber with rubber-cord casing parameters are discussed in this article. Rationale is based on its thermodynamic ideal and real cycles. Analysis of polytropic, adiabatic, isochoric, isobaric and isothermal processes are carried out. Interpretation of the basic performance of such devices is given. It is shown that designing shock-absorber with maximum values of all the effectiveness parameters is a contradictory task.
