Abstract
The problems of mathematical modelling of the interaction process between road-making machines and coupling medium are solved on the basis of studying medium interaction dynamics which is assumed to be plastically compressible. The analysis of different coupling movements let us develop basic mathematical models of the main interactions. The structure of these basic models provides us with the opportunity to create models of complex interaction processes under consideration. The methodology offered in the paper can serve as a basis for prospective machinery engineering.
