Abstract :
This paper introduces the parameter designing of the DC hybrid circuit breaker (CB). In the CB, the current limiting circuit is designed to inhibit the increasing of fault current, the combinatorial electronic power switch is designed to reduce the series connecting number of power electronic device. And also the process of energy release and the configuration method of the combinatorial switch are studied in this paper. The accuracy of the designing is proved by the simulation results, which demonstrate that the proposed CB can not only limit the current rising rate when the fault occurs, but also significantly reduce the series connecting number of power electronic device.
