Abstract :
A new approach to estimation and tracking of harmonic signal with unknown amplitude, frequency and phase is presented. The algorithm is based on the States and Parameters Observability Canonical (SPOC) form representation. This representation allows simultaneous state and parameter estimation of uncertain linear time-invariant system. The proposed algorithm has been applied to noisy measurement of single harmonic signals with constant unknown frequency and to harmonic signal composed of two sine waves. Simulation results demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed algorithm.
