Abstract :
We present an analysis procedure for the high-speed silicon depletion-mode Mach-Zehnder modulator. The bandwidth performances, including electrical scatting parameters, electro-optic modulation responses and modulated optical signals at different frequencies, were characterized and verified by measurements.
