Abstract :
The main aim of this paper is to develop a low cost, low power, reliable, easily portable, compact size vital signs that processes and analyses the data acquired from sensors to determine if they are within “Normal” range or not. The methodology used in this manuscript is fingertip sensor using photo diodes and designing a FPGA using VHDL Programming. In today´s very competitive business environment, building a cost effective products in a quick fashion is best done with a top down methodology utilizing hardware description languages and synthesis. So, this system is overall a wrist watch with Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, Lie detector monitoring. We can use this watch in different fields as well as for research purpose by further manipulation in programming and interfacing it can be modified accordingly.
