Abstract :
Mobile ad hoc networking permits portable mobile devices to determine communication path while not having any centralized infrastructure. Mobile adhoc network enable movable mobile nodes to determine association path for fault free communication. In this paper we have proposed a new technique to detect faulty node in communication in Manet´s using Residue Number System (RNS). Residual Number System is used to propagate the information about the faulty and attacker nodes in the network so that these nodes are isolated and hence the process increases security in the network. A faulty node would be depicted using RNS. This technique is secure, faster and lighter in comparison to other available techniques. This methodology has the potential of error detection and correction.
