Abstract :
The rural drinking water safety has become the focus of national water sector currently. Compiling rural drinking water safety planning of county at the early stage of the project is particularly important. According to the experimental data, the planning in one county of Jiangxi province is used as an example. On the basis of analyzing current situation of drinking water in rural area, objective, principle, task, and major research findings (the selection of water sources, zoning, construction task, project investment) are put forward. The coverage of tap water is more than 90% after implementing the planning. The indicators of water quantity, water quality, water pressure and parameters can meet the requirements of the relevant regulation and standard, which can solve the water demand of the county effectively in 2020.
