Abstract :
We experimentally and theoretically investigate digital spectral shaping for nonlinearity mitigation. We use transmitter digital-to-analog converter to shape channel spectrum to match the channel spacing and optimize linear and nonlinear performance. Theoretical calculations agree well with experiment.
