Abstract :
This paper aims at establishing a ceramic pattern design system based on ASP.NET, to provide an effective solution for product pattern design. We combine the service model theory of ASP.NET with product customization features to develop corresponding pattern design modules. Our work mainly includes two parts: one is aiming at the key technology of sketch plug-ins like primitives library management, managing rules library and intelligent design creation, to provide relative solutions, the other is to make it easy for the ceramic products design, through the research on fractal generation system and the characteristics of ceramics. Based on above researches, we also study the design method and implementation of two function modules in the ceramic pattern design system, and also provide the structure and program for the key functions. Then the feasibility of our scheme is verified by some specific examples.
