Abstract :
Student model is a component of great importance in the intelligent learning environment. A number of student models have been proposed more than three decades ago and one of them is the Constraint Based Model. In this paper we explore how a Constraint Based Model has been applied in various intelligent learning environments. Additionally, this paper reviews the students characteristics considered in each model to make the model adaptive and personalized.
