Abstract :
Delay modulation using directly modulated laser at 10 Gb/s is demonstrated for TWDM PONs with <;1 dB dispersion penalty after 20 km transmission. Compared to NRZ, delay modulation improves the carrier-to-Raman-crosstalk ratio of RF video by 10 dB.
