Abstract :
By utilizing cross-phase modulation, we demonstrated polarization-insensitive phase-transmultiplexing to RZ-QPSK in a photonic crystal fiber. The measured receiver sensitivity penalty at 10-9 BER was ≈1.8 dB for a randomly polarized CSRZ-OOK signal.
