Abstract :
Position detecting system is the key unit of Control Moment Gyro(CMG). It´s reliability is very important for CMG. The paper introduces a position detecting method based on two channel resolvers. Fault diagnosis and fault tolerance technology for position detecting system is proposed. Fault diagnose strategy is designed by utilizing Dependency matrix (D-matrix), whereas the fault-tolerant strategy is developed based on re-builder algorithm. Experiment results show that the proposed method is feasible and effective to promote reliability of the position detecting system.
