Abstract :
To evaluate the performance of the total recording system as the radio interferometer for estimating from where the radio wave comes by Meteor Burst Communication (MBC), we compared the ideal phase difference of each channel calculated on a map with measured one that is estimated from the cross spectrum of two signals of FM broadcast wave. The results show that 1) the variation of the phase differences is almost constant in certain second, 2) the errors between the ideal case and measured one are also almost constant value. These indicate the experimental system is capable of recording the signals without degrading the signal quality. If we figure out the error of phase difference of each channel in MBC when we measure the data of signals from the definite transmitting position, the accuracy of the direction in MBC will improve.
