Abstract :
In this article, the characteristics and calculation principles of the wavelet transform method are introduced comprehensively. And the EI Centro seismic records are analyzed by this method. The results show that it is accurate to analyze the seismic oscillation by wavelet transform method. And the energy of seismic oscillation can be showed on the time-frequency plane exactly and clearly. Compared with the conventional frequency-domain analysis and time-domain analysis, this kind of method is superior, and the important information can´t be neglected.
