Abstract :
We report a novel few-mode Brillouin optical time-domain analyzer based on spatial mode multiplexer. Analysis of the Brillouin gain spectrum and Brillouin dynamic grating are demonstrated. Distributed modal birefringence in a few-mode fiber is characterized.
