Abstract :
Freestanding waveguide coupled pedestal disk, suspended adiabatic taper and focusing subwavelength gratings were monolithic integrated on silicon-on-insulator. The quality factor of ~105 with ~7 dB extinction ratio was measured in near-infrared.
