Abstract :
We propose and demonstrate a scalable time-wavelength-division-multiplexed passive-optical-network (TWDM-PON) using tunable silicon-micro-ring (SMR) and Ge-Si photodiode as downstream receiver; and wavelength tunable reflective-semiconductor-optical-amplifier (RSOA) ring laser as upstream transmitter.
