Abstract :
A seamless optical and wireless transmission system based on polarization-division-multiplexing (PDM)-frequency-division-multiplexing (FDM) conversion using double optical two-tone signals which is assigned to different frequency per polarization is proposed and its feasibility is experimentally demonstrated.
