Abstract :
Multi-wavelength arrays of single quantum cascade lasers that operate at wavelengths between 9.2 and 9.8 jum are reported. Using an integrated distributed Bragg reflector and tapered gain region, QCLs achieve high peak power >2W, with some approaching 3 W.
