Abstract :
A dynamic wavelength and bandwidth allocation algorithm using tunable 10G-SC-VCSEL ONUs is proposed for TWDM-PONs. The algorithm optimizes the number of active wavelengths under a given delay constraint and incorporates sleep and doze operations for improved energy-efficiency.
