Abstract :
In this paper, we consider the impulse response for underwater wireless optical communication (UWOC) links with multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) configuration. The widely used Monte Carlo approach is employed to obtain the impulse response of 2-by-2 UWOC MIMO links for turbid water environment. We then present a weighted double Gamma functions (WDGF) model to represent the simulated impulse response. Numerical results suggest that the proposed WDGF model fits well with the impulse response of UWOC MIMO links in turbid seawater such as coastal and harbor water.
