Abstract :
Currently, in the hangar, aircrafts rely on the visual observation and manual driving of the pilots to control the overrun during taxiing. The manual control has a high possibility to bring the accident, e.g., crashing while the taxiing within the aircraft carrier. Moreover, the conventional satellite positioning system such as GPS can not be utilized due to the shelter from the satellite. In this paper, an overrun monitoring system based on alternating magnetic field is proposed, which can be equipped as an accurate positioning system for aircraft taxiing in the hangar. It can automatically report the aircraft overrun warning and correction parameters in realtime and improve the safety.
