Abstract
This article discusses the processes of planning and pedagogical evaluation of distance education conducted by the educational coordination of the course of Public Administration of the Department of General and Applied Administration of the Federal University of Parana, Brazil. The study shows that the particularities of distance education require a collective effort by all stakeholders so that one can structure the pedagogical project that meets the demands of students. At the same time, it is necessary to institutionalize the methodology to guide the necessary teaching activities.
