  • Abstract
Information technology has opened up a whole new range of possibilities for distance education, which in other words are known as the e-learning. Some might say that the effectiveness is as conventional as face to face classroom learning under certain condition. Until recently, researchers have confirmed that e-learning has a optimistic effect not only for students, but also for teachers and instructors. In fact, e-learning reduces expenses, time and increases the performance of education. Yet, most of e-learning systems are defenseless to many attacks. In this paper, we will review the current protections to address the vulnerabilities of the e-learning systems are addressed. Furthermore, it delivers a classification to the e-learning protections based on source of vulnerabilities.
