Abstract :
VLC is communications using light that can be seen by the human eye. Dimming control of a light emitting diode is an important component needed to provide energy savings and quality of life. SM-MIMO provides a channel capacity and data rate proportional to the number of antennas in the wireless environment. In this paper, we used an SM scheme among the MIMO schemes of the VLC system. We analyzed communications performance in accordance with dimming using RZ-OOK, VPPM, MPPM and OPPM schemes for power requirement, spectral efficiency and bandwidth requirement.
