Abstract :
Contourlet wavelet transform and improved Contourlet transform large redundancy disadvantages, this paper proposes A shape-adaptive wavelet-based contourlet coding method, First, the theory of shape-adaptive wavelet-based contourlet is discussed, and the video object is decomposed into three-level shape-adaptive wavelet-based contourlet according to the mask image. Then, an extend-SPIHT method is proposed, which improve the efficiency of SPIHT method. the method not only has the general characteristics of zero tree wavelet coding algorithm based on the outside, also has the characteristic directionality and anisotropy, especially information and texture information of the image edge have good ability to capture and decode visual effect. The experimental results show that the image coding scheme SA-WBCT is proposed in this paper compression algorithm for compression effect is obviously better than that of classic and current advanced (especially at low bit rates), had higher PSNR value and subjective visual effect, so it has a bright application prospect.
