Abstract :
Field desorption, high temperature filed evaporation and atom surface diffusion were used for continuous ion beam generation. Narrow stationary fluxes of alkaline and refractory metal ions were obtained. Emission areas were reduced using thermo-field treatment. Angle distributions of ion trajectories in the beam were measured.
