  • Abstract
    This paper describes the significance and feasibility of a method based on pattern recognition and an application example of the estimation of road situations and driver´s operating intentions (RSDOI). The information of RSDOI is not same in form as the state parameters. According to the specialty of RSODI, a fuzzy pattern recognition method is raised to estimate the information. Some relations between the driver, road, automobile and the electronic control systems of the automobile are illustrated
