  • Abstract
We present electromagnetic inverse scattering for multiple perfectly conducting cylinders with TM wave incidence by differential evolution strategy (DES) with individuals in groups (GDES). The inverse problem is to locate the cylinders and to reconstruct their shape besides finding the number of cylinders. In comparison to the original DES, the proposed algorithm improves the quality of the reconstructed profile and reduces the time required to obtain the inversion results.
