Abstract :
The design of intelligent preamplifier for turbine flow transducers based on MCU-51 has been put forward, include implementations of theoretical model of nonlinear compensation, circuit and software. Experiments also have been carried out. The transducer meter factor can be modified on-line by using piecewise nonlinear compensation method. The intelligent preamplifier output corrected pulse signal which is propotional to the average meter factor. The experimental results show that with intelligent preamplifier, the accuracy of flow measurement is improved to ±0.5% or less and the flow range can be enlarged to 10.1.
