Abstract
Advanced control technology is a new technology combining perfectly with the optimal control techniques based on modern control theory, modeling techniques and feedback control technology based on classical control theory and has formed the commercialization engineering software which obtains a wide range of successful applications in petrochemical production process. The high prices and difficult to use hinder the extensive application of advanced control technology in small and medium-sized production process. So the development of advanced control application platforms adapted to small and medium-sized production process is very necessary. In this paper, a more complete advanced control system is achieved according to the characteristics of the iFIX industrial control software, combined with the OPC technology. It is based on the iFIX industrial control software development platform, graphical configuration and VBA scripting functions to build an advanced control platform first, and then use the OPC standard interface to connect the advanced controllers of developed from iFIX external and data transmission system so as to form a more perfect APC platform. Finally, the design of advanced control platform combines Hysys simulation system to achieve a complete control development and testing platform.
