Abstract
With the increasing use of electronic equipments in uncertain environments, robustness and reliability become more and more important for analog circuits. Uncertain influences may cause uncertain component-drifts in analog components. This paper proposes a new idea to enhance the reliability of analog circuits under uncertain component-drifts. Diversified redundancies are adopted and an evolving model with regularly diversifying strategy is proposed. The regularly diversifying strategy decouples the correlations of the redundancies. Experimental results show that, regularly diversified redundancies designed by this paper perform more steadily in the simulation of uncertain component-drifts compared with single module or duplicated redundancies. Although the proposed idea is a primary exploration towards robust analog circuit evolving in uncertain-environment, it is demonstrated to be a promising way of robust analog-circuit design towards uncertain component-drifts.
