Abstract :
A chaotic-search-based self-organizing optimization approach is proposed to optimize the multistage batch scheduling problem of batch process time varying with batch size. Firstly, an improved scale-variable chaos optimum algorithm is applied to batching optimization. Then, based on it, combining the batch size related self-organizing selection strategy in self-organizing optimization approach, a self-organizing optimization scheduling algorithm is proposed. Finally, scheduling examples verify the effectiveness and the superiority of the approach.
