Abstract :
In this paper, the effect to gamma ray resolution of the digital spectrometer is analyzed by changing the sampling rate of digitizer. The hardware consists of Cd(Zn)Te detector, PXI-5122 high-speed digitizer and computer. The software of data acquisition is programmed mainly with Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench (LabVIEW). The result shows the sampling rate of digitizer is lower, the resolution is worse. The resolution is close to the best resolution when the digitizer sampling rate increases.
