Abstract
In this paper, the oriented-object computer language Visual Basic (v6.0) is used for programming the simulation of a vehicle dynamic system based on the concept of oriented-object program and visual modeling. Vehicle and component system models can be encapsulated inside its class module or user control ActiveX so that those models can be copied as different objects from the same source class module. This increases the program code reuse and efficiency. It is easy to describe multi-vehicle system simulation. With the function of VB add-ins under VB integrated development environment, a visual vehicle modeling system is also developed
