Abstract
For the current situation that coal mine accidents happen frequently, the level of the technology of miners positioning and alarm system is low, this paper presents a method to establish a wireless location net (WLN) based RSSI and the application of CC2430/2431 chips. This WLN can be compatible with the most of current mine safety monitoring system, and it can provide miners orientation data and underground personnel safety information for upper monitor PC. This paper firstly presents the three parts of the wireless network: Coordinator Node, Router Node, Blind Node. Then introduce the detailed design of the Communication protocol. Finally explain the wireless location algorithm in this system.
