Abstract
In this paper the HLA (High Level Architecture) simulation techniques were used to design the simulation system of marine power plants. A kind of hierarchical system structure was proposed so as to separate the application layer from RTI (Runtime Infrastructure). Hence the developed simulation application is plug and play. The reusability and interoperability of simulation application is fulfilled. There is a study of key technologies such as composition and development process of federation based on FEDEP (Federation Development and Execution Process) model. A prototype of the simulation system of marine power plants was presented. The simulation results show that the presented procedure is valid.
