Abstract :
The harmonic balance solution of multiconductor transmission lines with arbitrary nonlinear terminations in the frequency domain is presented. The transmission line system is modeled by the multiport S-parameter for full-wave consideration. The transient responses in nonlinear loading are then acquired by using the harmonic balance technique with periodic pulse excitation. Numerical examples show the availability and the versatile features of the proposed approach, with confirmation by results using commercial software.
