The competitive forces that drive organizations´ development have brought great interest to innovation, as the information content of products, processes, and means of production has become the great differentiator among companies. Technological progress has made the innovation process dependent on the interaction of interdisciplinary teams which can be geographically dispersed. The need for communication among the innovation group members makes collaborative tools useful to facilitate mutual understanding, creativity, and innovative work. This paper presents a collaborative tool that supports generating innovative ideas.
