Abstract :
In this article we design a contactless battery charging and monitoring system for wireless sensor network node. The system uses a mobile charging vehicle to charge node battery without contact. The energy inversion and transmission circuit is based on an improved Royer oscillator. The battery condition of all nodes in the network and on-going charging process is monitored real-timely and displayed on PC for the administrator. The test shows that the system is feasible and practical in facilitating wireless sensor network applications.
