Abstract
Mechanisms for integrating CASE tools are reported, and players in CASE standards development are identified. The author provides a detailed review of the CASE data interchange format (CDIF), one of the most mature CASE standards, and compares it with other relevant CASE standards. Issues involved in adopting CDIF are presented. The current status and future development of CDIF are discussed
