Abstract
The authors demonstrate the integration of joint application development (JAD), a process that permits customer/developer communications, into cleanroom software engineering. Integrated computer aided software engineering (CASE) is used in conjunction with JAD and cleanroom software engineering for the production of quality software systems. A detailed overview of JAD is provided, with emphasis on its use in the cleanroom system development process (CSDP)
