Abstract :
An optimal design of LVDS interface method is present in this paper; the design is optimalized from the hardware circuit and interface logic respectively. Through measurement and analysis of the output signal, it is found that the long cable is the main reason for missing lock of chipset. Therefore, at the transmitter and receiver differential signal drive and adaptive cable equalizer are added to ensure reliable and stable of the interface. Meanwhile, the interface logic design has been optimized, and two optimization methods are proposed. Through analysis and comparison, the second is chosen in the project, and is tested extensively, which shows that the method can effectively avoid the loss lock of chipset, and can improve data transmission speed.
