Abstract :
A novel DGS (defected ground structure) unit which is named DH structure is proposed in this paper. In this paper, it is proved that the performance of DH structure is better than the classic dumbbell structure by analyzing the stop-band character of DH structure and giving a detailed comparison between DH structure and the classic dumbbell structure. The performance of mutil-DH structure is analyzed. The Application of the DH structure the design of filter proved the structure is simple and practical.
