Abstract :
Microgrid coalition formation is practical and can be thought of an important addition to future smart distribution energy management system. The usage of game theory in smart grid application domain (especially in the area of energy) is getting considerable attention in recent years, (incentive demand response), etc. The cooperative game theory has been effectively applied in areas such as smart grid, virtual power plant, energy tariff etc. A slightly similar approach to form microgrid coalition was reported in by applying merge/split operation.
