Abstract :
The northeast region of China is an important industrial base and an area with abundant wind energy resources. Therefore, it holds an important strategic position in both exploitation and utilization of wind energy resources and wind power industry development in China. This article assessed the wind resource reserves in the northeast region and their exploitable value, and analyzed the current state and problems of the wind power industry. The research shows that the wind power industry in the northeast region is developing rapidly and even speeding like a swarm of bees in recent years. In addition, the scale of existing wind farms is very small, and lack overall planning. As a result, the wind power generation capacity is idle, causing a huge waste of resources and funds. To solve these problems, this article proposes the following development goals and suggestions to the wind power industry in the northeast region, according to the prediction. (1) Strengthen overall planning for wind power industry development in the northeast region, and avoid pell-mell development; (2) Make scientific predictions and decisions, and set feasible targets and plans for the wind power industry; (3) Insist on technical innovation as a core to solve technical bottleneck problems of grid wind power, and adopt the policy of “walking on two legs”, i.e. develop both grid and non-grid wind power; (3) local governments should make a financial subsidy policy, lower the price of wind power, help enterprises solve the problem of grid wind power in order to avoid idle wind power and wasting of funds, to promote development of the wind power industry in the northeast region of China.
